NFRC 2011 Award Winner

Marley Contract Services has won the Roof Tiling category trophy at the National Federation of Roofing Contractors’ (NFRC) Scottish Roofing Contractor of the Year Awards.

The roofing contractor was praised for its outstanding roof tiling work on a private house in Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire, which was managed by senior contracts manager Stephen Forbes and squad foreman Martin Lowis. The project used a variety of Dreadnought single camber clay plain tiles, including arris hip, crested ridges and clay valley tiles.

The NFRC Roofing Awards are designed to recognise and reward roofing companies that have achieved outstanding levels of workmanship, with categories ranging from Liquid Applied Roofing to Heritage Roofing.

"The shortlisted work represents the very best in the sector, and it was a privilege to win the Roof Tiling award," said Archie McPike, Director of Marley Contract Services. "The standard this year was exceptionally high and it was fantastic to be recognised for our work. Stephen and Martin worked tirelessly to ensure this project was completed to the highest standards and we’re all proud of their hard work.

"At Marley Contract Services, we pride ourselves on delivering the very best level of work and customer service, and receiving this award cements our position as the leading roofing contractor in Scotland."
