Quality Assurance benefits our customers as much as it does us. It underpins the comprehensive guarantee on our work – one which is unrivalled in the industry.

The guarantee covers all the materials selected for the roof. It also covers workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of installation.

An examination of the way we work explains why we can confidently offer this kind of assurance.

We pay meticulous attention to detail, from the very first stages of tendering. We do not simply install roofs, we install complete roofing systems in which each component is selected on the basis of its compatibility within the installation as a whole.

We operate a stringent quality auditing system which includes day-to day checks and regular independent audits.|

At the final stage of installation, each roof is signed off as being fully complete and conforming with the agreed specification by the Contract Manager.

All materials – felt, battens, ventilation systems and accessories, as well as tiles – are delivered, from our own stores, on a ‘just in time’ basis. This brings important benefits – an uncluttered, more efficient and safer site; reduced wastage through damage; and an assurance that all materials used are in perfect condition.

Safety is built into every roof we build

The days of unregulated building activity have ended and safety is now everybody’s responsibility.

In roofing industry, with its own special dangers, proper attention to safety is of particular importance. That is why you may find the following information reassuring.

All our work force receives comprehensive safety training. Actual performance is monitored against agreed standards in daily and weekly on-site safety checks in health and safety at work procedures.

In addition, our operatives work to an agreed set of Safe Systems at Work – procedures developed through realistic working experience in typical building
site conditions.

We also employ external safety consultants who visit sites each week and advise both operatives and clients on any actual or potential safety problems.

We issue all our men with the latest
and most effective Personal Protective Equipment and instruct them in its
correct use.

Every Contract Manager is fully conversant with all the relevant safety legislation and can advise clients on how it affects the situation on individual projects.

Our Safety Management System is regularly evaluated both internally and via external audits. This means that our safety performance is constantly being refined
and upgraded.
